5915s are DDEC 3 factory 500 injectors. Depending on what you have already, you can lose power switching to them.

John...you might want to call Inland over in Carol Stream. They are very knowledgable, I spoke to a tech there last year when I was having temp issues. I can't recall who I spoke to. Give them your engine VIN, they can look it up, tell you what you got.

If you post your engine serial number I can tell you what you've got as long as it's not a recent factory rebuilt engine

    3564 cam
    5575 injectors

You would get a bit of an increase going to the 5915s but you'd be better off with 7650s or 7014s if you really want to liven it up

What is the difference between the 7615 & 7014?

I had to edit my post .I meant 7650, not 7615.

Anyway, the 7014s are a little bigger than the 7650s. They're used in industrial 14L engines and are one of the biggest non-marine injectors.

Will you know if it was a rebuild?

I'm not sure, but, I think mine was a factory rebuild...in 2013....at least that is when it was installed...there is no EGR on it, so, my guess is it wasn't "new" in 2013.

Can you tell by looking up the Serial #?

Anything with a RE in serial # is a reman. So your engine was a reman from 2013
