Most of these new trucks are there (13k steer) when empty of cargo and fuel tanks full.

Our company trucks are like that too.

Are you kidding me, I have forward tanks. A prostar with a ISX, Were is the weight ? Its recycled beer cans and tampon applicators! I have to be working hard to put 13k on my steers! If I have 13k on steers, Im 47k on drives!

Hell Im gonna start selling tires then!

But going buy weight, with a spread he need slide 5th wheel rearward, or tandem slide rearward. Not rework the load out of order. Or live with it.

Nah, she's still sitting at home hooked to that flat, I'm going to give her a workout taking that up to Connecticut towards the end of the week.
I'd like to get the following done here soon before I take her trucking:

Wash, wax, detail and sand/polish all the aluminum.
Stainless boxes behind the fuel tanks on both sides.
Rod & main bearings, oil pump, dampener, and a 3 axle alignment.

Last but not least a fresh federal inspection and a new name on the door.

 

Internationals have always ran heavy on the steers. They won’t change much empty or loaded. I assume the pro star is the same way
