Theres lots of freight coming from Lakeland. Or if you're further south, belglade has all that sugar but you'd have to brokerage those through JB HUNT. I usually just deadhead to Jacksonville to get something out.Last edited by a moderator: Apr 3, 2019

Is this drop&hook for you?

Years ago I used to get a load motorcycle doors. However, it did not pay well. I will see if I can find the number for you.

South FL is even worse than central FL. You'd have to deadhead out even more miles

Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson.
1800 on 800 miles is a terrible rate into Florida. I run down there regularly for 2 different shippers. Never under 3.00 per mile. 3.80- 4.00 if it's south Florida.JonJon78 Thanks this. -
@86scotty yes, South florida is a major producer of Blinker fluid, Sailboat fuel, Motorcycle doors, and Dispatcher brains.
The rate as i remember weren’t horrible, of course the sailboat fuel had the best rates back then. Sailboat fuel was a home run, get a load at $3.5-$4/mi heading in and upwards of $4/mi going back out.86scotty Thanks this.
