62 is a pretty efficient speed. When you factor in big cities east of Dallas, that's what you will average anyway

I prefer to be able to pass a little quicker than taking 10 miles to get around another truck.

If anyone needs or takes 10 miles to overtake another vehicle they are doing it wrong!

...hmmm, 62, 65 or whatever speed. Getting the load on time and safely is the goal. What do I know...I just have a permit...

    bzinger Thanks this.

I love that video! I wouldn't do it for a few reasons but man it makes me feel better to know someone taught a couple of Swift drivers something.

Lepton1 and Vic Firth Thank this.

Saw a Werner tard come out of a service plaza on the ohtp today and go directly to the center lane and stay there .
Lost count of how many low grades I had to pass on the right between the 71 and the 218 today .
What do they teach these people !? ...along with the jerks that all of a sudden find the pedal when being passed .
Crossed into Penn on 80 and I got passed by a w900 pulling a flat with a side kit who was getting with the program .....I said screw fuel milage today and fell in behind him at 77 mph and let him push em out of the way .
Of course the there was the occasional peterbilt driver with that special Pete tude that took issue with being smoked by a shiny cascadia...that race was short lol.
And of course the brother in his red Volvo from Chicago with homemade side fairings flapping in the wind ...wore out front end shaking like a Jack rabbit on roids .
He finally got wore out lol.
    What rock heads lmao

I’m surprised some of the 4 wheelers didn’t follow him.

It wouldn't, and shouldn't. But the 58mph truck got done finger banging his phone, or his movie he was watching on his iPad sitting on his steering wheel ended, looked up and said. " iza soupa twucka, sheeeyat iza ain't gunna let nobuddy pass me." And proceeds to hammer down o_O

Coffey, BigDog Trucker and bzinger Thank this.
