    I did a lil intermodal in the 90's- Crosstowns and such-

    Now you have ramps all over and its slow??

    If I Ever got back into intermodal (Which i Wont)......

    It would be
    1.Only Chicago Ramps-(Global 1 and 2- BN Ogden/26th-Santa Fe Corwith- NS Landers- UP Canal and Dolton,ICG/CN Harvey-CSX 63rd/bedford park- and NS 47th.

    There would be NOOOOO Elwood or Global 3 or 4. Too Old for those ramps full of people-poison and distance.

    The LPC and Global 4 closed to inbound freight yesterday. The trains coming from California have been shut down for weeks now because of the flooding. So the east coast shut down to west coast traffic and empties (no place to store them).

    head over to NS 47th with a 40' chassis- Get a Load lifted on- go deliver it (Locally) Find some work-Im sure its there.

    Forget about the overrated mega yards-

    Go to BN House 9- Pick up a JB Blowjob wagon- Deliver it by sundown- Nobody will notice.

    Or Best Yet- Hewad over to the SooLine in Bensenville- Pick up 20' load in 1 of those stacks-Lift it on Deliver it to Romeoville,Empty back to the Soo- $make your $500 bucks.

    It's feels like 2008/2009 again, slow period came out of no where and stayed, no companies are hiring and everyone is worried. Let's see what May brings...
