Use Google satellite view to plan your trip. Match it to how the Qualcomm is routing the trip and ignore what it is telling you to do if it's questionable. It's easy to pick out the industrial areas where trucks are allowed and to see where the residential areas are that need to be avoided.
PE_T, NavigatorWife, Coolbreeze and 1 other person Thank this. -
If you must rely on your GPS, consult your atlas along with directions from your customer. Then add waypoints to your GPS to force it to go the way you want. And even then, keep a vigilant eye for No Trucks, reduced weight and low bridge signs.
Lepton1, roshea and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -

We use Omnitracs IVG with CoPilot GPS. Very minor issues.
If your company is yelling at you for not taking back route, find a different job.
Then again the term back route is subjectiveflood, roshea and jammer910Z Thank this. -
