@HillbillyDeluxeTruck
Hey if your going to keep working for someone else, why not go to YRC,ABF
Good money, bennies. I mean if your gonna be a employee and treated like sheet, why not do it for more pay. Save up and buy a truck, or don't and just retire in 25, or 30. Just a thought. I also don't recall how old you are so there is that. -
Best of luck. Take your time, don't forget to breathe, you'll be fine.1951 ford, cke, johndeere4020 and 18 others Thank this.

I guess Im just not a big company type of guy. I do have a lot of freedoms currently. Like they dont call me to check on me or bug me, I have free run of the truck. My goal is to buy a truck at some point after learning as much as possible in someone elses truck/on someone elses dime. Currently I want no part of my own authority. I willing to chase that $ and loyalty has not gotten me very far yet. Im gonna ask some questions to these other drivers today, get a feel for it and go from there. Im 37 btw.

Just do what you do every day.
And remember, if you cant find em, grind em! Lol -
Well just a thought. Some of those guys bang out 100k a year. I will eat sheet for the right price. I'm 38 with my own authority. I had no plans for that, but life changes. Looking back if I did it over I would have started sooner, or should have went Union LTL at 21. Now dont get me wrong I love what I do, but just some after thoughts. Look at it this way, If your goal is to own a truck don't focus on why or how you get to that goal. Treat each job as a investment vehicle to get to your goal. This would be the time to chase the money. Forget them you won't be there in 2,3 years. -
I am a fan of that brand's raspberry tea. Along the path of turning into my Dad, I've developed an inability to digest high fructose corn syrup. Pure Leaf is one of the few brands sweetened with actual sugar, which makes it good for me too.1951 ford, cke, johndeere4020 and 17 others Thank this.

It's called good sense. You have to be a communist not to like tomatoes or onions or chili peppers.1951 ford, cke, johndeere4020 and 15 others Thank this.
