I had one of the older models. In fact it's still in the truck. But it won't support 4G.

You're right about the trees. I haven't seen one in a while.

 

After a day of wrenching on a friend's truck in a dusty west Texas parking lot I think I have been cured of any stupid notions I ever had about turning wrenches for hire for road calls. What an over rated experience.

But we got it done. He's back in business and I think he's going to be going much slower on those water crossings.

I'm in orientation and too busy to keep up with you guys right now but I try to skim and stay current. I saw some old motorcycle pictures posted and thought @OLDSKOOLERnWV and @Grubby might find this interesting. I was eating lunch in a little cafe in Logan, KS one day and this was hanging on the wall....any idea what makes these bikes are???

 

Ruff time for me today. Fell asleep during my break. Totally dropped the ball and lost track of time.

 

I spent some bucks on a Wilson a few years ago. Little antenna wasn’t doin much so I bought a bigger one and put it on the passenger mirror (CB antenna is on drivers side). Got several hundred tied up in the setup and it worked SOMETIMES. Once you got out of service area, it does nothing. It’s a signal amplifier, so it only works when there’s signal to amplify.

Mine is still in the truck but I got tired of replacing the antenna. Lol.
