I think it would be an excellent way for the DOT to spend all the time they used to spend with paper logs. Refer enforcement. -
Lol... I should have guessed. If they would spend half the time on ELDs that they used to spend on paper they would still find errors and falsification... And probably even form and manner stuff.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
-
But it would be much easier and faster ( more revenue ) for them to see bags of something palletized inside a refer. $500 fine 10 CSA points first offense.

I stay west because it is not the Midwest . It is difficult to convey my dislike and contempt for most anywhere east of I15.
Some of us have responsibilities out here. But I wish the folks from the Midwest would stay the heck home and not dilute the freight pool. They usually learn before this time of year.otterinthewater and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
you may have mine. Or Dave. Actually, I like Dave more, so he may have mine.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Too many new people. Landstar is what is diluted. They hired and fired so many people, and a bunch quit, the driver quality level definitely is not what it was.
Some girl through a full hissy at a receiver in Phoenix awhile back. " THEY WANT ME TO DOCK IN THAT ONE YOU JUST CAME OUT OF."
I'm like "Yea. You have a newer truck than mine with tighter turning radius. That's really not even a squeeze."
That's the tip of the berg. We have some real winners.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
I may get in a dust up here, cause if this dude drives around one or two more times, he's been around 6 or 8 now, I'm going to be forced to tell him to park the F truck or leave. And there's no where to park the truck.
-
Case in point: tried to book a load from the L.S. board and evidently the shipper did not want a BCO because of bad experiences.
Unfortunately the same quality drop is also rolling through the agents.
I get tired of giving my "anything extra I charge a premium for" speech.
Goes along the lines of: If it's HazMat I demand a premium, Either the customer coughs it up or it don't go on my truck. If its Tanker endorsement required- I expect a premium. You want me to show somebody my TWIC card or Canadian PrePass That's going to cost you. Oh the truck and trailer need to be CARB compliant yep that's extra also.
Noticed Ritchie Bros has a sale going for June up here. Wonder If I can get more if I take my junk to a Cali loc?blairandgretchen and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
