I keep mine out in the garage...both my wife and I used to smoke. She only smoked a little, maybe 6-8 smokes a day. I could easily smoke 2 packs in a day. Well she quit one year before I did, and even though we rarely smoked in the house, my last year of smoking at home was out in the garage. 1991, I finally went cold turkey and quit...but there is still a half pack of smokes out in the garage...G13Tomcat, bottomdumpin and NavigatorWife Thank this.

You can live without your lips, ya can’t live without your lungs.

Two sets: one on person, and one in truck. Two each (pack & lighter)
Hard plastic snap pack. Barely bigger than cigaret pack. Keep it refilled daily. Smokes don’t get crushed or broken if falls off dash. (A fresh pack kept in buttoned shirt pocket. Your out of the truck smokes).
Use a self-extinguishing ashtray. I have one in a cup holder. Never smoke in bed. Get up and use drivers seat. Crack window.
Open a rear vent or window as you drive. Crack drivers window about two fingers. Before you light it and a few minutes after finishing one. Keep airflow on ALWAYS from heater vents whether AC or Heat chosen.
And order and use monthly a 120V OZONE GENERATOR ($100 or so) in the truck. Leave it running 2-3 hours. First time (old truck) let it run TWO DAYS.
Two Zippo lighters. One on dash and other in trouser pocket. Refill the zippos daily. Use a small zippered sleeve to keep lighter fluid, flints and wifks in a cubby. (Read on how to use & maintain a Zippo. I’ve daily carried same one since 1986. Lifetime guarantee. Those disposable lighters are worthless).
Store cig cartons in a secure bag.
And don’t listen to the wah-wah crap about smoking. Pharmaceuticals are far more profitable. That’s where the anti-smoke crap came from. And long-term irreversible mental/emotional damage with psych pills. No one gives a flying F about your health or others (second-hand smoke risk a lie, research it). If smoking didn’t work, no one would bother.
Cut off the psych pills and INSTANTLY 30-million men & women start smoking.
Yes, it has immediate & long term effects. Harder to get it up. Ruins singing voice. Dental problems. Physical strength affected. Etc. But the drivers who don’t smoke and live longer will “retire” just as broke as you.
And don’t expect to be considered quality mate potential by a non-smoker. The lies are accepted as truth. No one ever liked to lick an ashtray. And now, like tattoos, ball caps & tee shirts, they are one more mark that you are a loser.
Stay with quality brands. I buy AMERICAN SPIRIT from a store owner who orders them for me. (Research). I go in and buy 2-3 cartons at a time.. The cheap #### is harder on you. (You can afford it or can’t. Have a standard and stay with it).
Vaping a bad idea. Don’t believe the BS. . Smoke or don’t. Don’t expect to quit one day. 20-30 years in, quitting INCREASES the likelihood of dementia & Alzheimer’s. Best to never start.
Be an AMERICAN truck driver by properly utilizing the four basic food groups: Fat, Sugar, Caffeine & Nicotine.
And I look forward to those facilities that tell me I can’t smoke on their property.

Well that's a plus.. so many stories of explosions, though. My daughter had a classmate's pocket explode last year with his. I'll stick to chewing gum. Don't smoke, don't dip.booley Thanks this.

Always buy name brand batteries and avoid counterfeit batteries. Good ones rarely explode while fake ones often explode.

I agree. Absolutely No good comes from those things. They will rot your body from the inside. My wife is 37 years old and has been suffering from COPD since 29. COPD is awful. When she gets a cold she gets much sicker then most people. I swear it effects her immunity. She's also on brio, a breathing medication that costs $300+ per month. Thank God she has a job with good medical benefits. We both must work, I make more then double what she makes but she brings in the health benefits. She literally can't live without the benefits. She is also in diabetes medication (not insulin though).
The diabetic condition is likely not smoking related, but the Dr's told her the COPD is smoking related. She smoked for maybe 12 years.
Vaping has likely saved her life. She's been vaping since she was diagnosed with COPD.... So anyone that thinks vaping looks silly it's better to look silly that end up suffering and dead at a young age.
Not to mention, I vape in my assigned truck. It doesn't really smell like much. We have drivers that smoke in their trucks. Their trucks smell putrid.... Stink really bad. Many have ash all over inside the cab..... Burn holes in the seats ECT ECT. I actually like the truck I drive and prefer to keep it nice as possible.rabbiporkchop and Lumper Humper Thank this. -
Think the filtered word is bad donkey.

Didn’t I see a fire truck chasing your truck down the road?
