When I got out they were giving us crap about stickers on our hats. Something about it degrading the hardhat?! I didn't make to many fans when I said "as heavy as our stuff is if it falls on us the hardhat is just gonna make clean up easier..."

 

Hey I saw some Howitzers the other day on I10 between Houston & SA. 1 per truck. Ol boy on the radio said they come out of SC? and go to 29 Palms.

I know theyre govt loads, but every single truck hauling them had a big ### custom sleeper on it. So Im guessing they pay well?

 

I’m under the impression the vast majority of military freight is cheap.

Yes, we’re based outta the NW so I’m heading into a hot freight area when I know the majority of the NW is a dead zone for many of you owner operators. That alone would make some of you cringe at the rate I’m sure...
