Hey guys and gals. I have been hired with Western Express and I am getting ready to go out with my trainer this afternoon. I have 150 hours or training to do. I have looked at the message board on Western Express app and I believe that my first load will be taken to Medford MA. Then, depending on what else me and my trainer needs to do, we will be heading to Florida so my trainer can take some home time. I have met my trainer personally and I believe that I got lucky in getting a good trainer. He is low-key and seems laid back. My kinda fella. Any ideas on what cities and towns I will be going thru between Nashville TN and Medford MA?

Here is a new update for y'all. On my first day of driving, I went from Knoxville TN to Harrisburg PA. I kinda learned how to use the Jake brake somewhat in the mountains of Virginia. My second day was from Poland Springs ME to Watertown NY. It was interesting to say the least. We had a great late season snow storm pop up and my trainer almost decided to call it quits for the day. However, it warmed up and there was no ice. The mountains in Massachusetts were somewhat more tricky than in Virginia. Day three was from around Columbus Ohio to Dayton Ohio to Knoxville TN. And dang we're the mountains on the Kentucky-Tennessee border a five-letter b-word. I really figured out how to use the Jake brake then. Overall, my trainer has told me what I needed to know and went to his bunk. However, I learn best when no one is actively watching. Drivinga truck ain't all that bad as long as you pay attention and make sure to keep your nose clean. I will keep yall updated.

P.S. Btw, my trainer is taking some home time in Florida where he lives. So, I will be there for the next five days.
