Where is everyone #5

Prime Country on Sirius at the moment, thinking about some bluegrass or good Southern Rock.... both make my hoof heavy lol.

 

I did 2000 mi between San Antonio & Houston last week lol.

 

I did 1600 from 4:15 Wednesday afternoon and Friday afternoon....

 

I walked out to pick up stuff and the Google speaker thing said "take a drunk girl home".....who am I argue with logic like that...

 

I had one of them get "offended" after he knocked on my door.

(story time)

Pulled a 13 wide out of Laredo. They routed me through the woods around San Antonio and Austin. It got dark on me before I got back to the bigroad. (this is before they built that TA in Hillsboro)I had plans to stop at Willie's Place Petro, but it was dark 30, and as soon as I got on the bigroad, there was this gigantic pickle park in Hillsboro. I pull in and grab a spot. Turned on the interior light to fire up some canned chili in the microwave. Suddenly, CB goes crazy and the goodbuddy Morse Code starts. I get a knock on the sleeper. I go to the door and some little black guy is standing there. I'm looking at him through the window and he seems to be getting annoyed... which really doesn't help my increasingly foul mood.

I roll down the window, "WTF do you want???"

He seems shocked, "You turned your interior light on."

"And?"

It dawned on me, I guess I'm not supposed to turn on the interior lights if I don't want any goodbuddies knocking on my truck. I get it now. That's why all the fruits are deadkeying on the radio. I'm on their turf.

"I wish you guys would mark your territory, like put a rainbow sticker on the rest area sign and hand out some pamphlets for the Do's and Don'ts for the Fruit Brigade!"

He seemed offended, "You...you're homophobic!"

"I ain't homo nothing. I don't hang out in these places for recreation."

So, apparently, I was wrong for signaling...but how the heck am I supposed to know? I know about the rainbows. I wish they'd mark their territories, because I sure as hell wouldn't stop there. To hell with DOT.

 

Sadly I can identify....
