I had heard alot of negative things about this place do I was prepared for a long wait . To my surprise they unloaded myself and several other trucks in less than an hour and we were out the gate. To be fair these were dry loads . Still faster than what Wal mart would have done.

HEB in San Antonio is where the bad experiences are told about generally.

HEB San Antonio. The enemy will never nuke this particular spot, we will be left to starve soon enough. /sarcasm.

Yes HEB Houston is good and quick . That SA location is the worst , I remember at Christmas time alot of drivers didn't make it home to their families. The workers left for Christmas eve and told the otr drivers to reschedule and if they didn't like it to bad . Drivers were ready to fight the staff it was very entertaining and sad all at once.

If I get burned once with a big wait time I'll probably just raise hell. A second time, and they better take a picture. Because I'm not coming back. They can keep their cheap detention pay. With Elogs, once time is lost it's gone. I'm not putting up with it. If you take poo you will get more poo.

I've been at this so long I know where most of the big delays are going to be, and I avoid working for any companies that go to those places. Almost always big companies.

Houston was decent, San Antonio sucked, the freezer was the tightest docks, produce warehouse was easy but super busy and usually a line just to get in gate

That post from Fairshake I quoted from a different thread said that they were building a new one with more room.
