Well the weekend was semi uneventful. Changed pinion and carrier bearings in the new truck only to grenade one of the shims putting the chunk back in. Had to order a shim kit from the parts store and that wont be here till Monday afternoon so maybe I'll get it back together before work Tuesday.

28" is considered the frost line around here, so that's about how far I went. Our house now sits "low" on our lot (F.U. and the desk you rode in on, FEMA). My post tops are just at the current grade or a little under. I've got a little wiggle room to move some dirt and get the post tops and beam brackets out of the dirt.

Hell I was going to have it changed on the road at a truckstop.....the cheapest I found was $350 just for a straight oil change. I decided to run bout 800 miles over my 10000 miles to do it at home for just shy of $200. And I don't charge myself epa fees or rag disposal fees ! LOL
