    10 roger. from what I've seen they look similar, but wasn't sure if there a slight difference or not.

    Not that I’m aware of. Fontaine generally doesn’t make a lot of changes. One they decide how they want to do it, they pretty well stick to it.

    It’s hard to find any used flips, so chances are good you’ll be buying a new axle.

    Wyoming has been pretty good for me to deal with.

    On my outfit I will be able to get around:
    Steer = 13,000 (about all I will be able to get on it, 11 24.5s)
    Drives plus tag = 65,000
    Trailer = 65,000
    Gross = 143,000

    My light weight is 43K, so without the CW I should have no problem, but I want to borrow a bigger trailer first so that I can get an actual weight on the machine before I gamble.

    My annual permit for Idaho depends on which highways are traveled. If I remember correctly I was allowed 153k gross on the black highways (interstate and some 2 lanes) but depending on the highway it drops considerably from there. I need to take the hoe back up on some blue routes which are quite a bit less this spring. I believe I can have the portable fellows come out and weigh me and measure spacings to get a one trip permit that exceeds what they allow on an annual.

    First thing is to find out is what the rascal actually weighs. The fellow that hauled it out when I bought it estimated 115K fully dressed, but didn't seem to know exactly (which is hard for me to comprehend seeing as he brought it from Eastern ND to Idaho).

    I saw a guy that shoehorned a flip on a 40ton Talbet awhile back where I was loading. He said he had it from another trailer laying around and made it work on his. I'm not sure if it came from a Talbert or not.

    How close to this was your setup on you 40ton Mechanical @Humblepie ?

    Oh trust me, I've already been looking. They are not plentiful and the ones I have found they was gold price for. 8K is the cheapest decent thing I've found one for and it was a 2000 model
