Well that's funny I had 2 2015 2 2016 and 1 2017 before I got my new truck and only one of my 16's and the 17 and my new truck had inverters you can go to any terminal and ask the shop manager and there is a list of approved trucks and they are all 16 and up

I work in Port Services out of Phoenix. My 2014 is in great shape as well, will hate to see it go. Supposed to be getting a new 2020 tractor in a month or so, it may be a T680. Would prefer a new VNL760 though.

Knight's tractors don't have APU's. As Tony850 mentioned above, older tractors may not have an inverter. Mine does, and it's a very good piece of equipment. Mine will idle above 72 degrees and below 34 degrees. It does have a bunk heater. I believe 2019 and up tractors have been ordered with refrigerators as well.
