a Waterloo Boy is a John Deere before they changed the name. I think that Deere and Company bought them in 1918?and produced them till 1923 before changing the name to John Deere.

    Well,

I had a heck of a morning. Took my new to me 48' Kentucky to the highway patrol office to inspect the title, out of state sale. The office is at the state fair and it is not truck friendly.

Anyway, the formalities went fine, I had to reposition the truck for the trooper, no problem. I go in to get the paperwork, start the truck and, it is barely making 50PSI. Changing the governor in the state fair was kinda like being an animal at the zoo!!!

Avoid the "53" block. Its a known issue that they crack due to piss poor casting. They were cast between 1999 and 2001 so it could be possible a few ended up in early 2002 models.
