Notified today that the eXceed 860 TC I ordered for a June build is denied until at least October...FYI.
I'm so sick of these truck dealers.
It's a fight to get anything... You must do all their homework for them during the ordering process. They are so clueless about options and it's like pulling teeth just to buy a truck.
Okay that's for another thread i guess ....but i got this news today and I'm really ticked off again with truck dealers.
Blah !!
eXceed Not being built until fall now. Truck dealers suck!!!

Has anyone else noticed unless you're ordering at least 10 trucks these guys don't care....??
Seems like half the dealers I talk to , want to know how many right off the bat... If it's less than a million dollar order they don't have time for you.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
KB,what color did you order ?
I like this yellow, orguzmatic color mixed with black and chrome it's important to see others and to be seen.
169,500$ x 1.34 =227,130 canadian dollars + 8% financing +13% HST. Just dreaming, I'll fix my junk.

I've been staying in Hotel the past couple days trying to purchase a new 2020 truck from a dealer.
I absolutely hate dealing with truck dealers. My "want" to buy a new truck isnt a "need" therefore if by tomorrow mid morning something hasn't happened with the deal, the only thing that is going to happen is me leaving in my current paid off truck that I own...
I feel like most of these dealers are looking for the easy target, someone who walks in, looks, no haggling, and signs away at whatever the dealer presents to them... Easy money for them...KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Its isn't just Volvo. Paccar is 8 months out too. Like everything else in this world, if you have money and buy in bulk, front of the line you go. Find a stock truck or wait in line unfortunately.
Atleast it isnt like the auto market. Full huge parking lots of new cars and trucks to pick from. Another bailout waiting to happen IMO. The backlog of truck orders is job security for OEMs. From what I know they are producing at max capacity. -
Orders for Class-8 trucks plunged 67% in March compared to March last year, to 15,200 orders, the lowest March for orders since 2010.
KB3MMX just give a dealer little more time they will start calling you, they probably didn’t get Q1 2019 report yet. -
This plunge comes after orders had already plunged 58% year-over-year in February and January and 43% in December.

I saw in that link the stabilizer bar to prevent oversteering and cab leaning on new models. I never had one , looks interesting , perhaps would be possible to install on older models. They came up with this few years ago, seems to be an upgraded version.
Socal Xpress and KB3MMX Thank this. -
I wondered about that too.. install that on my 2016 and just keep running it.
The H with these new truck salesman!!
They certainly have the arrogant attitudes like you should open your wallet, empty it on the table and beg for Mercy... No thanks.
Pathetically.... Almost none of them know a darn thing about the products they sell.
You have to do all their homework for them, getting product codes, etc.
However...
Their big boom will go bust with massive overstock at some point this year... It's coming
Maybe only then will their entitled big egos deflate...? Lolx1Heavy, JonJon78 and Newto Trucking Thank this. -
i think this is possible with a little fabrication. Have had one of my customers bug me about it for a while so looks like I’ll be doing one soon will let u know on the update.Socal Xpress Thanks this.
