Not sure what's been going on lately, but I've been sitting between loads. Delivered in NY from GA this morning at 5 am. I dont have a load out until 3 PM tomorrow. Happened my last run down to AL too. I got 1700 miles this week. Layover pay doesnt even come close to lost mileage. A 650 mile run over last weekend was a time drain. Could have done that in a day.

Hoping this is just a glitch. I'm on my 3rd dispatcher, so I'd like to think it's just an adjustment phase. Giving it another week or two to see if it keeps happening.

They asked if I would give up my new truck to a driver that needed one. I'm in a '19 and I've sat for so many repairs on mine that i have 0 issues with it now. I know this truck inside and out, so i was happy to keep mine a bit longer, especially if it helps another driver.

Enjoy the cold weather. I have my sleeper windows open here lol.

Also, how are you getting runs out west? I cant seem to get off the 94/65/90 unless I go on home time.

Well, I guess I was in the right place at the right time. Last Thursday, I delivered my last stop in West Fargo. I stayed at Stamart, the called in first thing, and they told me to come to the yard. I got to the yard and sat a hour and a half, then Darrin called me, and told me there s a load on the yard that needed to go to Tacoma for Sunday night, and I would have a back haul out of Tacoma back to Grand Forks. 43,000lbs of hash browns out, and 8,000 lbs back

Once I delivered early on Sunday, I got a restart while out there

No, but 2,400 a week minimum is what they base their goals at. Never had a problem exceeding the minimum every week. I dont expect 3k plus a week, but I do expect to meet company set goals...

I had Darrin, then Jeff, then Patrick, and now Rick. So I guess my 4th dispatcher since the beginning of the year. I like Rick, but Darrin and I worked well together. I'm happy he switched positions, but not happy cause I was happy lol.

But I know it's a growing company. Take the good with the downsides. I have an 1,100 mile run over the weekend, so off to an ok start. Hopefully I wont be stuck down there again. I have rarely run south and I had a pickup in Chicago which has never happened, so I dont know why theres so many issues getting me back out of there. When I ran north, I was constantly going.

Like I said, maybe it's just a bad week lining up loads in my areas. I'll stay optimistic. Have to, got another mouth to feed. My horse had a baby. Vet told us she wasnt pregnant.

    Surprise. Haha!

March was a little slow for the company. Even though, I took home time because there was nothing coming out of AL until the following week, I just barely missed being in the top 20 for the 3rd time this year. I sat a few times in March, but still average around 2800 miles. Thankfully those multi-stop loads helped out a little bit
