@TripleSix congrats on the 10 year thing. Life has been better since I have been reading your words of wisdom. This week for me marks 51 years trucking. It has been a good run and I still feel as good as I did when I was 65.

Just found out that my attempted route plan for tomorrow was

    1. Pick up in Laredo @ 8am
    2. 1st drop in Bryan, Tx 330mi
    3. 2nd drop in Waco, Tx 84mi

This is where it gets good.

    4. DH to Corsicana, Tx 56mi
    5. Deliver in San Antonio before 5pm. 235mi

So a total of 2 pick ups and 3 drops and drive 700mi as well. I had to call and ask my boss if she did the miles and time on that. A couple minutes of silence and she was liks "oh, yea that'd be pretty tight".

Yea Id say 12hrs of driving and 4-5hrs of loading/unloading in 8hrs is "pretty tight".

I don’t know. It’s fairly new to me. I just always called them bootysniffers because of their behavior. Everyone is cool until some female driver shows up and these guys acts like she’s some sort of goddess and worship the ground she walks on. Then when she tries to determine what you can or cannot talk about and you tell the ugly heifer to goeth intercourse thyself, all the bootysniffers get up in your face trying to win points with the jersey cow. And that always makes for a good laugh.

The crazy thing about it all, is as soon as the bufarilla leaves the area, they return to normal. Losers.

Fargly. Incidentally that shade is extremely close to Mare Island Green. Which is such an ugly color that it's only used as a primer for the hull and always covered by a better looking color. Such as Prison Gray. Which is also an ugly color, so that's really saying something.
