If I lived 2 miles more to the north I'd only be able to have a 7 round mag. Sure would be a funny looking AR

Last Saturday I went to a CB break down here at my friends house. One of the guys was called Little Brother, he got that handle being the youngest of 4 brothers that all talked on the CB. His oldest brother was there too. He said back in the 1980’s he moved to Oklahoma and could talk on his base station with all 3 of his brothers scattered around Mississippi.

He had an old 1968 Scout that he had restored to original condition. dark green with the pickup style body and the hard shell, says he drives it anywhere he wants. To be honest, I’ve never seen the pickup style version of the Scout but I was instantly a little jealous. That truck and those old 1960’s Broncos will always be timeless to me.

The one in the pic looks like a '76.
It's actually a Scout Terra pick-up. 118" wheelbase vs 100" for the regular Scout 2.

Anyone (you) know where this is? Wife took it when we were OTR ... something like a 'wrecked train' diner, but this was the 'desk' inside. I sure do NOT recall, and didn't label the pic.

Same here. I’m not what you’d call a Ford guy, but I’d rock one them old Broncos and be proud of it.

Friend of mine, who is also part owner of the company I’m leased to, is in the middle of a long term Scout project. 4x4 with a 4BT Cummins, big suspension lift. Gonna be a rock crawler I guess.

That's a cool project with the 4BT. Growing up on the farm my dads uncle had a 47 KB they were still using in the late 70s

That would be the Oasis Truck stop on i10. Believe it’s exit 56. Common stopping point for the OSOW crowd. The diner is called the Train Wreck. Decent place, serves beer with your food.
