Can't agree more with the two major points I saw. 1. Making an expectation of failure and 2. Creating an expectation of what a group of people are like.

 

Mmmm.... I’d say the open sign would go up before ya got to work. 9 to 5 Brothel 5 days a week lol.

 

And geography. And True History, not these fables of Washington chopping down a cherry tree. Good, motivated Teachers are usually able to make lessons interesting. Or at least they were before the government over regulated it. Turned Education into a money generating machine. Same thing with Health Care pretty much.
Sorry if that sounds political, but the requirements for new textbooks every few years is a travesty. The root cause of that Common Core math that is so disruptive more than likely.
Close family member is employed in the textbook field.

If there are no new discoveries in a area of knowledge, there's no need for a new book. Except to burden the taxpayers with a Bill.

Lol, I had just washed my mule skinners and was deep in thought about how to move a piece of equipment in the swamp to do a job. Coworker took that pic..... he knew where my mind was lol.
