    Sorry if I misguided you. Though property was the freight. Light pole is driver fault and carrier should cover it.

    How does one have a light pole low enough for a truck exhaust pipe to hit when they allow trucks on their property?

    Just curious.

    That actually happened to one of my trucks one time. Ripped the whole line and pole down. Gas station wanted us to pay for the freezer going out. Ummm no. Utility company wanted us to pay for all the work to repair everything.

    Insurance found that in the certain state that it’s law to have the power line a certain height above the ground which it was not. Therefore we were not at fault and all liability on the utility company.
