HA! Not just HA but HA.

Ive run Canada at 63 and it's governed. NO problems. Canada speed is pretty close to it.

What you are asking is to tamper with, bypass, disable or otherwise remove a company set speed on your truck.

If you truly are a Owner operator, full title to the truck, running for yourself, go ahead. But anything else? Forget it no one will touch it.

People have lost jobs immediately upon detection of disabled speed limiters going back to the 90's it's a form of stabatoge.

Ahhhh OK. the speed limiter law here is just traffic court and the government can and does appeal. After all they are appealing with our money. Sounds like they would be able to appeal a traffic offense in the USA too.

No, because the government is charging the individual with an offense of the law. If the person is found to be "not guilty", that's the end of it.

If the government passes a law or regulation that harms or infringes upon the rights of an individual, the individual may sue to have the law or regulation struck down. If the individual wins, the government can appeal.

In both scenarios, if the government wins, the individual can appeal.

This post is pretty old, but I am the company - not the driver.

Quickly discovered there is no simple solution to my question.

What more simple answer are you looking for? Like I said, I've had DD15, C13, C15, and ISX.
If you are the owner, go to your dealer and have them set the parameters. Mine go wide open and say they are speed limited when plugged in to.
Why would you need a "switch"?

Faster Truck on their own site tells you it won’t work for most 2011 and newer trucks.

Does anyone know what the current fine is in Quebec for not having a speed limiter?
