More electronic cattle prods. Yep, that usually makes everyone safer. Or do they simply promote a higher degree of Stupidity?

“Hey, if we put this in the vehicles, the vehicle will warn the distracted driver and save the day!” Won’t that lead more drivers to a false sense of safety, meaning that more will be inclined to drive distracted than what currently do? Eventually you guys will be so stupid that you will need automated vehicles just to get from point A to B.

Easily distracted people should not be driving. Trying to stupidproof driving is the wrong thing to do IF WE WERE ACTUALLY CONCERNED ABOUT PUBLIC SAFETY.

So what do you suggest seeing that we are not living in the age of the past of rotary phones and black smoke coming out of our exhaust systems and now highly addicted to computers solving are problems and yes it's TRUE unqualified drivers in our society should we just say f### it and let these people hurt or kill someone we know or love or try AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM!! I maybe be a rookie but I'm not a kid and the year I have been driving and the 25yrs in construction zones anything that can keep distracted "illegal" drivers or the so called "super truckers"" from paying attention to WTF there doing I'm all for it!

I don't like computers telling me what to either and I can barely use this so called smart phone but we can't turn things back,if we could I would have a different opinion.

 

Automatic transmissions is probably a big factor in all these truck accidents today. Takes no skill or minding what the truck is doing. Just pop her in gear and hit the hammer. Then play with your phone

 

Seemed to be safer back then. Not sure why?? But I can think of a few reasons. I just do my best to stay safe.

That Braindead idiot that drove his car into a rockslide and swore up and down that he didn’t see it, what would be the SAFEST thing to do with him for the general public...
A. Put more cattle prods in his cars and hope that he can drive safely.
B. Revoke his driving privileges?

He didn’t see a rock slide. Perfect day, dry road, YET he didn’t see a rockslide. Why the hell is he allowed to drive? Tell me how much you care for your kids and loved ones after you tell me that cattle prods could make this idiot a safe motorist. Their blood is on your hands. Now, go bleed on that.
