The Unit injector Engines are running 15,000 psi . This is valve opening pressure in the injector tip.

The common rail systems coming out now run as high as 27,000psi. Scary Huh? DO NOT crack a common rail fuel line loose for any reason and don't go near a leaky one either!

Here's my deal on Turbo3000D..Do they have any controlled 3rd party testing done on a bench or controlled environment or just some drivers that say "It works great"?
I'll tell ya my story and I am an owner op with no dogs in the fight.
I have a 2005 379 PETE EXHD, C-15 ACCERT 475hp with 620k miles on it, 355 rears,13 speed, tripak APU with fired bunk heater.
I have every average mpg stat since it was new the summer of '04,tank to tank mpg on paper with monthly/quarterly mpg, Ecm mpg stats pulled with my pm service with idle time less than 1%, avg speed around 65 and what not since it was new.Oil test done every service.
I bought the Turbo3000D at TA after months of hearing fellow drivers swear it works great. I thought if it works that good it'd have been on there from the cat factory. Not to mention it's claim to prevent injector stream is just too funny.
My best friend begged me to get it put on my truck. After he got one on his truck he swears it "idled smoother" ,"had more power"and "It'll save you alot of fuel".
Sounds like he got all the results that were promoted.
"Perception is reality" is right. He says he has more power and better mpg. They told him he would when he bought it.
I can say for sure that after I had it installed and after the "break-in" miles. I saw no evidence of an increase in mpg or any increase in pulling power on hills.
I still get 5.4 to 5.8 mpg averaged on 12k to 14k miles per month. I still drop 1 1/2 gears on the same hill as before at the same rpm's as before. No increase in power or mpg as far as I can see.
Oh well, it's time to go look at a new truck soon anyway.Someone might be impressed it's on here when I sell this one.
I won't be purchasing a Turbo3000D again. If you want to save fuel check your tires, then drive in your motors sweet spot.
If you want more power buy a bigger motor.
Be safe and happy truckin to one and all.

Heres my free fuel economy tip for you. I guarantee this to be exactly as effective as the T 3000. ..everyday before you start driving take your fuel caps off and as loud as you can scream "HUGABUGA, HUGABUGA,HUGABUGA and put caps on fast to keep
the HUGABUGA in the tank. effects are immidiate .there is no clean out period
no need to thank me, im just trying to help my fellow drivers

The guys who drive wearing the gloves with the fingers cut off and chain drive wallets all say the 3000D works great.

I personally have been adding a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil to each tank every time I fill for about the last month. I can't yet tell if its helping any or not. I have been worried about the ultra low sulpher fuel in my '98 Cat. A friend told me this would help the lubricity of the fuel. He says he is getting better mpg but I am not sure about that. I do think it might be running a little smoother but that might all be in my head too.

You need to be very careful what you add to your fuel tanks with these newer engines based on what a friend does or what you heard on the CB. They are so sensitive and the damage may not show up for a while. I read somewhere that the old diesel fuel had no lubrication guidelines but the ulsd does have guidelines. So worrying about lubricaion may be uncalled for.

I add approx 4 quarts per 300 gallons of fuel of TCW3 2-cycle oil.Engine definatly runs smoother and 2-cycle oil is designed to burn.Don't know if I'm causing any damage to the engine tho.Time will tell I guess

I agree it does nothing. Gave it a try... it was on the cover of the iowa 80 catalog for how long??? I must have been hypnotized. It made absoultly no difference. I watch my mileage very close and never saw any increase. Actually changed some fuel lines and threw it away a few months ago. Hindsight is always 20/20

If you can, borrow one of those "Hav-A-Hart" catch em live traps. Go to an area that skunks frequent and set it; (use cat food for bait, they love it). After you catch one, hold it over your open fuel tanks and convince Mr. Skunk to donate a generous dose of his pee in each tank. I have heard from very good sources that this will not only outperform the 3000D, but it is considerably cheaper.

The only drawback is that you cannot hold Mr. Skunk more than 24 hrs. Any longer and PETA will file kidnapping charges. However with the fuel savings, and the $$$ you save by not purchasing the 3000D, you should be able to buy your own trap, and enough cat food to start your own fuel treat program.
    Happy Trapping!
