Yep unloading isn’t a problem though. Gravity feed to underground tanks. I don’t know for sure but I think the trucks don’t even have pumps on them...?

Yes if you apply for Van you will park the truck there each day/night. Pay is by the load with min pay being 220/day. Depending on whether it's a 5 day or 4 day weekend shift annual pay will vary. Expect to make at least 60-65k on a 5 day shift and 45-50k on a 4 day.

Ha! Yeah I took a break from online stuff for awhile. Been doing not too bad. How bout you?
I'm back working for WM again. Went to work for Gemini and realized WM had spoiled me too much. Both have pros and cons. I think I'm just tired of driving period. This career is not really for me anymore no matter who I work for. Thinking about going back into the car business again.

I've been feeling the same honestly bro. I'm trying to find ways to make this kind of money and be home. I'm burned man. Still going strong at Estes, but man I'm tired.

I applied to Gemini Motor Transport for a job that was titled "LTS Delivery Driver OTR/Day Shift" on Saturday and got a call from them today. The ad was slightly misleading as in the major responsibilities it said "Drives company trucks to destinations and operates equipment to transport fuel" and it turns out its delivering tires to the Love's locations. This results in lower pay, otherwise it sounds like a decent position. He said you leave on Monday and are OTR until Friday, sometimes Saturday. He said its a new route and they don't know how many hours are there, but probably 50-60 hrs/week. I think he said no O/T, but my phone cut out briefly, so I'm not 100% sure.

Any of you have experience about this position and/or know anything about it?

Those must be the Love's dry van trailers I see driving around occasionally. I'd like to think that this would be an easy way to at least get in there as a driver and transfer over to fuel after a given amount of time. I'd definitely call the guy back and get more clarification.

Yes, the sleeper cabs pulling the dry vans. I'm talking with him again in 2 weeks and will ask for clarification on the O/T and about eventually moving into tanker too.

At least you got a call back. Hope it all works out and you could transition over with ease. We've got Loves and Pilot over here in Clovis NM. But none of the drivers live here. Love's never gave me a call back, and Pilot says I live too far away to be commuting for an open posting an hour and a half away. Stuck in the food-grade ghetto.:(

Nope don't do it. My friend I talked to long ago made it clear the money maker at loves is fuel. Tires and crude oil is a waste of your time. I'll find his name in my inbox and post later. Maybe he will show up
