Friday they did `a lot of trenching, they ran tile to all the downspouts and put a French Drain in to catch the perimeter drains and the runoff from a slope..
It rained a lot Saturday night and all that made a big difference.

They should hang drywall today or this week sometime. Tuesday I'll run down to Evansville and pick up all my fans and light fixtures. All nice quality stuff and affordable

    Home
And I need to pick out my flooring this week too.
It'll still be a while til the cabinets are here and they still have to bring the dozer back when it dries out to finish up so we can plant grass.

    How's life in Maine?

I went to check on employment with DC Air. The gal that does the hiring is out sick for the moment (bronchitis/pnuemonia). So I get to check again in a week. The gal I met with seemed enthused about my employment.

It is a blessing to have a good hot water heater. No longer are we wondering when the water will get hot. Or do we have to play the water faucet tuning to get what ever temperature. The headache with a tankless hot water heater? You have to have faucets with the two valves. If you have a monovalve for the shower? Then you have to turn on a sink valve all the way to hot. Then turn on the shower valve and do a dance of sorts between the valves to get hte proper temperature. Granted if you have a two valve type shower, you turn the hot on full blast, then mix in the cold. But the hot has to be wide open, otherwise the tankless will over heat and shut off the burner leaving you in cold water while it remembers it should turn back on.

The alternative to when a tankless is installed is to install a tank for the heater anyways. Idea being that you preheat the tank before taking a shower. Yeah, why do you need a tank on tankless. LOL

I should point out. Another headache with installing tankless (short of living where one doesnt have frost). Tankless heaters requires a costly power vent. Power vents are about $1500 (10 years ago)

I’m glad I chose the tank type LP water heater then.
I couldn’t see a payback by going with the tankless type.

The issue I had with the tankless was it required 60amp 240v for a small one. I only have 100 amp feeding the space until I upgrade the utility power drop.

    20 gallon tank only requires 120v 20Amp.

That's basically an "Insta Hot." The power you use heating the water instantly is enormous.

Those were the rage in the late 80's and 90's for sinks in commercial settings.

ADOT accepted and processed my DOT physical in less than 24 hours on line.

Still waiting for Landstar. Cause you know Landstar the girl had to spill her coffee on the PC, then probably had a crisis at home. And they have all the Landstar drivers to deal with.

I mean Arizona probably really doesn't have that many with all the mega's having their main training bases here now.
