    have any of you guys moved to another state and brought your authority with you.

    Just looking for advice on bringing your dot and Mc numbers to a different state.

    It is just an $80 change of address application with the FMCSA. The only trouble may be the change in your insurance rate depending on where you are moving from and to.

    You can move where ever you want after you get your MC, just update the paperwork with new address.

    You can move your Mc anywhere you want (in US) including Alaska.
    Make sure you have proper corporation for that though.
    Also I’d suggest to make some research on insurance rates.
