You will need more than just a vacuum. It has been a lot of years since I was week enough to let a driver take his dog on the road with him. It was a 359, and when the driver moved on, I had to strip the interior, strip the hvac and clean hair out of the cores. I was still getting hair out of that truck when it went down the road. I know a lot of drivers keeps a dog with them, I love dogs, but I don't want them in a truck.
That said, a good friend of mine will go outside most winters for a couple of weeks. Sometimes I keep his dog for him and he rides in my log truck. The dog loves to run, so I let him out on the log road about 5 miles before I get to the landing and let him run 5 miles or so on the way back too. I still have to do a major cleaning once I get rid of him, no more than he is in the truck.
