I have found out by looking at all laws both recent and past that govern American drivers that we are the most dangerious. The goverment knows what would happen if we all went on a national strike that this nation would stop even CSX. This is why that we are kept on a tight lease even our pay which we know that we have to keep moving to meet our expences.
Major carriers have long held powerful lobbyest to influnce the D.O.T. and regulations just have the drug industry have done with the F.D.A. I think as a driver that many of us don't want to hurt anybody but at the same time we lost of how important we are to this nation. Unions are good but Congress have the upper hand. Why then consider a Driver Contract as a condition is the carrier wants to hire you? I know the first thing is that they would never agree to it. But if thousand of drivers did this the carriers would go into a vapor lock and with no were to turn. Contracts are an agreement between two party's on pay and benifets. As long as the content does not include regulations set fouth from the D.O.T. Why?
The D.O.T does not regulate drivers pay this is were the contracts come in.:druid:Next time a carrier call's you for a job, tell them only on condition of a pay contract see what happens. If thousand of us do thia then they start to relize they got a major problem.

If a thousand of you do it you will find out there are 3,000 that will take the job no matter how low the pay saying "any job is better than no job . "
