Yeah the pin is not broken which boggles my mind as to why it fell off. It’s a little bent but not unusable.
-
#### man, that isn't right. You can't get those times back
-
I'm afraid to ask, but which ####hole in Chicago?
-
Yeah all because they just had to get me 50 miles closer to home first.
-
You should think of switching to Jim P. The man is fantastic. From the first day he was officially my DM he has been absolutely fantastic.
On a side note Cartersville is my absolute least favorite terminal. My short time here I have so many negatives attached to it that I would just as soon go to a drop yard in Times Square than go to Cartersville. -
The thing is that I don't think anything about this ####-up was Pat's fault. Weekend dispatch dropped the ball. Twice.
I'm still wondering about whether or not it's worth the time to have a conversation with Jay about it or to just let it go. It's not like this is happening ALL the time so I don't want to cry too much about it . Yet I'm not too happy about how flippant everybody seemed to be about it. -
Not trying to be nosy but I think I know what's affecting y'all. Freight rates are in the tank right now. Every single solid company out there with any significant running history has a baseline below which they cannot operate. If their normal freight lines drop below that, they may choose to hang in for a bit. After a while you gotta cut bait and move on because it isn't reasonable to operate at a lower cost. I suspect that's why some of your regions have seen a dropoff in beer freight. It's a high volume commodity which is good for a fleet your size but it's always been borderline payoff, operationally speaking. Hang in there y'all, rates are appearing to be on the other end of the pendulum swing and coming up a little.MIT Thanks this.

Aren’t the beer loads contract freight not spot?
I know ours are but we run to a lot of dead spots for reloads with our beer loads.Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -
Well that would make since considering that pretty much all of our OTR freight out of Trenton is out of the brewery. Could be that we're still getting a decent contract rate out of those loads whereas everything else in the area has gone to ####.
Has anybody pulled anything out of Trenton lately that's not been from Miller? Last non-Miller load I hauled from anywhere near there was probably in December, and it was a broker load.
