    70 mph = 1400 rpm -hi gear is 10 mph per 200 rpm. 80 =1600 , 90=1800 , 100=2000 , 105 =2100 . This works, drove a truck for years with no speedo. Can be verified by radar signs 50= 1000 rpm , 45=900 ,etc.:biggrin_25525:

Course the real question is can you pull 2100 in high gear? :biggrin_25511:

It's really hard to push that much AIR!:yes2557:

My truck prior to this was a 2004 Pete 379, and it would get on up to 2150 with no problems. It had alot lower gear ratio though. I think it had like 370's or so.

If it is a 07 or newer paccar product you can go to the information display srceen and under powertrain info you can see what the speed limiter is set at. The last truck I drove it was set at 94mph, but then again I have no need to go that fast.
