Parked in Elk at your favorite hidey hole.

 

We run up around that area 2x a week in the summer, when you would drive past that road it was on, one day I just happened to catch a glimpse of the stripes on the sleeper thru the trees. next time thru wheeled the truck and trailer right down that road to get a better look. No one was around but my brother stopped the next week and the guys daughter was there, she had her father call me and we struck a deal right there.

 

Worked out then for every one

I'm back at the desk because the new FNG actually seems to have a brain and if he doesn't get driven off by the chaos and sometimes mountainous bullscat that goes on here.... We've got a winner. Dude is sharp, learns fast, motivated and works like a mofo.

 

2k Paperweight, well... according to the guy I used to work for. He hated F.A.S.T fuel injection. He was a hardcore holley carburetor guy, but to further elaborate... He didn't know #### from shiloh about fuel injection. An absolute magician with carburetors, though.

Had an incident with him where he got totally bamboozled by a common rail fuel injection system on a modern-ish V-6 that was in a 1929 Ford that came into the shop. Conversation ended with me saying to him "Don't question a diesel mechanic on common rail injection ever again"
