Does anybody know if this truck has a trailer brake? If so where is it?

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

If it’s a new design cascadia it’s directly next to parking brake knobs.
If the older one, it’s to the right of them.
    I’m talking about the handle.

It should be a handle labeled trailer brake , maybe the lettering has been rubbed off, but it's the black lever like in the picture above

I think some order trucks without the trailer brake handle. Why? Not sure. Guy I knew had a older FLD it didn't have one. I have seen others without also. Personally I would not be without one.

Why have something that's never used?

Keep your drums and brakes in good shape. Learn how to use brakes on ice. Won't have a problem.

I've only had 2 almost Jackknifes in almost 20 years. Never touched it.

I use it maybe twice a month. After I hook up.

I hook up and tug before connecting lights and air.

I have only ever needed it once in 10 years and that's because something snagged a brake line on a old semi I had and the brakes didn't work right apparently on the old truck coming up to a 90 degree turn and I grabbed the trailer brake to slow me down for the turn
