I was trying to be sarcastic.
Some people think they have a niche while everybody else is doing the same.

A specialized reefer is a reefer that can do special things. You load it with onions and upon delivery they receive onion rings.

“Specialized” reefer probably means multiple stop or LTL. A few reefer companies specialize in as many as 15 to 20 stop LTL type freight.

That's a good way of thinking buddy I agree. Your gross revenue at the end of the week is what really matters. Just make sure your CPM hits your target for the amount of miles you ran that week so your profitable.

The longer I am doing this the less I feel about the cpm game. I mean, cpm should not be the goal in itself but rather an efficiency gauge of how I did while attempting to meet the real goals, for instance money left after fuel and tolls and all other costs in a month time.

Well...this is in a way an attempt to justify my action of taking the cheapo $750 load from Nashville, TN to Chicago, IL when going back home for the weekend...LOL

Not too long ago, I did pledge to myself not to take any load that would pay less than $1000.
Oh well, times changed a little and I am a such a weak dick, now patting myself on the back.

@4Cs Freight hasn't been on this thread since February. Are you still in business?

Lol!!! I hear you bro. You can run for less miles and make good money too just as long as you keep your overhead down. You know what they say big miles, more overhead...
