If a book were written on the pros and cons of dump vs belt, pros and cons of a belt, and the pros and of a dump, the book would be about 2 feet thick. Now add a few chapters on the various pros and cons of different manufacturers especially when considering belt trailers. I am done stirring this pot soooo good luck!

Nice thing about end dump. No worries about breaking down of the belt system and be empty in 10 seconds.

Only advantage I can see with belt is no overhead to worry about. Power lines and what not.

the company I was leased too had leveling devices in there cabs which are supposed to alert a driver if he’s dumping on unlevel ground they still lost two trailers in the last year do too material sticking in the bed!! I really don’t think any device will prevent a tip over if material sticks to one side and not the other!! I could be wrong though.

I’m almost positive you would need the tri-axle but may I ask why you would go with such a short trailer?? Are you planning on staying local or going over the road!!

Running local like 400 mile radius so if I have to run a 400 mile trip once a week I would get a room but I’m trying to just run 100 mile trips back and forth with an extended day cab

    blade Thanks this.

You should try to get a hold of @NightWind she does local like you are looking into and only lives one state over she would be a wealth of knowledge for what you are wanting to do!!
