That is exactly what I am thinking...
1. Volvo changed the torqusin bars...the old torque bars are Atri...the new Volvo ones are really thin (which I have the new bars)
2. Volvo put a slip style drive train on these newer shafts I think (which I have)
3. Volvo changed the cross member to have the rounded botton (I do not have)
I found a truck exactly like mine on the yard today BUT it had the older drive shaft and old torque arms. Bags were inflated and I took a tape measure and it measured 1 3/4 in from axel u-joint to the cross member (finger m a half gap)
My truck has new torque arms and the updated 16 drive shaft ...I'm wondering if it all goes together .... unless if on some trucks it is normal for the drive shaft to sit within 1-2 inches of the cross member... which I doubt
Drive axel touches frame? Help!!

Every time is different, but the majority of the time the crane picks it up or drops it on. Very rarely do I do a pre-pull.
My first concern. Was they bent my frame but I dont think that's the case heredaf105paccar Thanks this. -
