Any OTR drivers from MASSACHUSETTS !

I am interested in this as well. I will not be driving over the road but have been curious about OTR drivers in the area.

 

I haven't hauled out of MA in years but there's a lot of trucking out of there . I know there's a Shaw carpet warehouse in Mansfield that gets carpet from GA . Shaw has their own trucks . TJ Maxx has a warehouse in Worcester but I don't know who has the contract for that . Maybe you could ask a TJ Maxx manager . CVS drug stores also contract their deliveries out . Foster Forbes in Milford ships a lot of bottles including for Budweiser in NJ . Regency Transportation in Franklin had a lot of that work and would also haul plastic bottles for Coca Cola . That's a rough area to get in and out of . There's never a good time to avoid traffic on I-95 through CT .

 

Thanks Rick, I know all to well about the traffic! I will be hauling local in the MA / RI area just wondering what else may be out there.

 

if you want to go over the road get away from the necd... im outta maine and i havent seen newengland soil in a couple weeks... well im headin that way tonight just landed get this.... POTATOS from md to the county in maine... known for potatos.... i still dont know why im pickin it up.... pays great tho for gettin me home....

 

I am actually a partner in a family business with my father and brother. Things are slower than usual but have leveled off for now. We haul light iron and crushed cars so if the price of steel drops, work drops. We are doing enough to pay the bills right now though.
I am retiring from the Army this summer but keep up on all the happenings.
