Those were good. They were headquartered in Cincinnati, so there were several there. Bob Evans built a few of his first restaurants in Cincy too, and back then ( 78 ?) they were really good. Did you ever go to his homestead farm around Chillicothe Ohio when he had the festivals ? That's the only time's I saw the old steam and gas tractors run. I got to go twice around 80/81 I think. It was once a year around late summer or early fall iirc. Neat place.
The Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Field in Fairborn ( Dayton ) Ohio was a huge thrill for me the two times I got to go too. Did you ever go there Jim Jim ?

After spending nearly an hour to splash 40 gallons at a Loves this week, I’m really missing places like this



I really was hoping how bad it was with people parking at the pumps was exaggerated here. I don’t get road rage, but I’m pretty sure I may suffer a little from pump rage.

 

First thing I saw. Nothing ruins the looks of a Pete or KW quicker than those mirrors. To me anyway.
