Changing my axle ratio....update

    Crimp connectors seem to have come along way from the ones I am replacing.

    I don't think I've ever seen an interior crimp go bad during normal conditions. I've done mobile installations for over 20 years, well before trucking. Exterior is a different beast. If I don't have shrink connectors, I'll shoot some silicone into a normal butt connector to keep the moisture out

    I have a 2008 peterbilt with a cat engine c13 governor to 62mph with a 8 ll transmision with diferntial ratio 410, can I install a 13 speed transmission without changing differential ratios?

    sure. but you're still gonna be winding out with those gears. i assume you have the rto model with .74 od? an rtlo 13 speed will be the same ratio in top gear.

    Guys hie there can you please help,we just got a Columbia with a 12.7 with diff ratio 2.79 on a 10 speed.....but then in Zimbabwe our speeds are 55 how can I maximize fuel loading 32 tons.
