Company nav is routing me to flagstaff.
My nav is taking me 200 miles shorter to Albuquerque.
    Fully loaded 79990..
    Thoughts?
    Final destination is laredo.
    Avoiding I 35.
    Thanks.

US6 down through Price to I-70, grab US191 through Moab to Monticello, US491 South all the way to Shiprock.

    Now you get to choose...

The longer route is staying on 491 all the way to Gallup. The trade off is more chain truck stops to fill at / stop at for the night.

OR, you go east out of Shiprock on US64. There’s construction before Bloomfield near Farmington. Hit this area during off peak hours and you’ll be fine. Or you can run a route around it. Go south on US371 out of Farmington and you can run the 7010 around the construction...

US-550 is what you want to take down to Albuquerque.

Plan a day for this. The Loves in Provo to the TA in Moriarty is a full day for me. No matter your route it’s a hilly ride.

Company nav probably has been told to route away from there because someone or someones had an oops/oopses.

    Also, it's smoking crack.

Follow your truck nav... I'll be running that route as well tomorrow but I'll take the 550 down to Albuquerque versus 491 to 40...

    Nice peaceful ride....

D.Tibbitt, QuietStorm and Upinsmoke Thank this.

If rolling down 191/491 at night, watch out for the drunken Indians.
