That truck is even more impressive in person. He hasn't wasted any space. Every available spot has storage for things to tackle anything that comes at him.
I met with him in TX and he was changing a tire. Tire dude delivered it and HH sent him packing. Busted out the jack, impact and tire spoons and got right to it. Not too many sidewalk sissies doing what he does.

###### that was probably him.
Course, Netflix doesn’t allow you to take photos and upload them. Just blacks out the screen. -
Mucky.

You’re in the oil fields right now. It’s not easy being out in those areas. Lots of guys hear about the money and plan to go to those places, but you gotta have stones in those areas. Need a repair? Either you do it yourself, or you wait 3-4 weeks for a shop to get to you and charge you 2X-3x the hourly rate.
You see all these threads where some “professional driver” is bellyaching about something so insignificant. There was a thread started by some delicate snowflake because he wanted the bunk controls to be where he could reach them without having to sit up. And here you are dragging hose through the muck.
I tell you what, if and when SHTF, the worse place to be is surrounded by sidewalk sissies.blairandgretchen, BigBob410, 7-UP and 21 others Thank this. -
(Story Time)
A friend of mine returned to his truck after the holidays and some heavy snow. He had the truck plugged in. He started the truck and tried to move, and realized a brake was frozen. Instead of climbing under the truck and beating on the drums, numbskull revved the engine and dumped the clutch.
“Hey Six, what does it mean when I try to drive along and 1 side of my axle spins backwards?”
It means you busted the diff. That’s a $2500 mistake.
“Well, I didn’t want to get underneath the truck and lay in the snow...”
For $2500, I will lay in the snow all night.spyder7723, dwells40, BigBob410 and 24 others Thank this. -
Ok. I ran to Santa Fe springs and back.
Just wanting to know......
Any news about @G13Tomcat ???
@IH Truck Guy ???? -
If it's super cold out, like colder than zero I really try not to beat on drums. They crack easier in the cold. And laying under the truck does suck. Part of my winter gear includes a squirt bottle of methanol.

You know how many guys have No Tools. Had guy blow a chamber in line in front of me. Now we have to get him to move because there was 30 trucks waiting to dump. I walk up and tell him his wheels are locked. Its a old wagon with manual slacks. I told him "go get a 9/16" wrench". His answer was he didnt think he had one. I said "Kid if your pulling a wagon with manual slacks you best have a wrench and a MF hammer. Nope not one. So we dig out my tool box. I am always willing to help but this floored me. I bet my 12ton bottle jack has been used by more people than myself. But I grew up with actual truckers. I might not have every tool with me, but enough to get yourself out of trouble or avoid a big service call.blairandgretchen, BigBob410, SAR and 20 others Thank this.
