I was taught to use 18ft brass coax nevernew exactly why always worked good...factory volvo coaxial doesn't work good

I doubt if any factory coax works good, at least none I have ever seen has been the good coax.
I used to like connex 33's, but there is probably better options out there now.
We do not really have any cb shops in AK, we do have one now where the radio shack used to be, but I haven't been in there to see what he has or does.
I have just been running bone stock cobra 29's for the last few years, sucks, but it is what is available here.
Road trucks and pilots depend on vhf radios for distance instead, wish I could talk the other log trucks to install them, cause most of their cb's suck. -

in 35 yrs, I've run only 3 Cobra 29's. worked fine, they don't need to be retuned after being bounced around running OTR on bad roads.
