Go ahead and put two antennas at least 5 feet long on each side of your bumper and feed them with a cophase harness. The two antennas will pretty much just act like one (antenna simulation software says so) when they are close so you won't realize any real benefit. It won't hurt though.

If you like the look of two antennas go for it. However, I agree with the others that a good 5 foot mag antenna on the roof will work better and be easier to tune up.

    Good luck and have fun.

I have had my Predator 10k for about a year now and it works GREAT!!
Even works great with a barefoot radio. Just make sure you use good coax and get the SWR's tuned to 1.5 or less. I am currently tuned to 1.2-1.3.

Good SWR tuning is a must, even with a cheap radio go with a great antenna.
