I am getting tired of being "paced" by cops. I do not slow down, as I'm usually not speeding. These idiots will pace you sitting right beside your tandems...What the hell are they thinking...afterall they have to see all the blowouts on the roads.stuckinthemud and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
-
Funny how a statement about someone failing to yield right of way turns into a cop bashing thread..this crap gets so old..
TROOPER to TRUCKER, booley, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
God creates the perfect trucker every day.
But
God creates the perfect idiot every second.
He’s currently winning this war and will do so in the near future.booley, D.Tibbitt, bottomdumpin and 2 others Thank this. -
Sorry If I offended. Was not my intention, just venting.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
-
No worries, I just did that job for almost 3 decades..and you are right what he did was wrong... at the same time police ain't perfect either..stay safe out there
-
But why should we not expect police to be as perfect as they seem to think all truckers should be?
Double standard, perhaps because they are the ones with guns and authority?
Truckers are held to a higher standard because we are considered 'professionals'. (Well, in those cases, since our 'profession' is considered blue collar at best every other time - or simply grunt labor.)
So why shouldn't the police be held to the higher standard as well?
I think it is far more likely the trucker would have been held responsible if that incident had resulted in an accident, even though the cop was being a complete moronD.Tibbitt, Rubber duck kw, roshea and 1 other person Thank this. -
Dont get me wrong I agree with you. Police should be held to a higher standard..if the officer did that then he was wrong but jeesh let it go. You know you have done that at least once in your life, I know I have although not on purpose..nobody is perfect. I saw an officer backing up on the interstate in Atlanta one day and almost caused an accident . I said #### that was a stupid ..and moved on...
Yes trucking should be considered skilled labor..I have been out here just over 3 years and still cant uderstand how truckingt could ever be considered unskilled labor..rediculous..gotta keep those labor costs down..D.Tibbitt and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
You can call 911 on the spot.
I’ve done it. Reported road rage. Set him off that I actually did 45 in a 45mph construction zone. Let 911 know you have dash cam video. -
This God of yours has some fuzzy logic.TravR1, Lepton1, booley and 1 other person Thank this.
