    Economy isn't slowing down yet

We have too much capacity right now.

    Tariffs are not at fault.

Those who haul in the auto segment will see a slow down, ford and GM are scrambling to get into other markets, selfdriving cars because they over sold in the lease segment and know what will happen soon.

I'm not an economist by any means, but I can see a storm brewing to some extent. While the tarriffs are hurting some now, I would like to think that they will benefit in the long run, but as I said, i'm not an economist so its just an opinion. As for freight being low, I think it will work out eventually, but as someone said, it depends on what you are hauling I would think. For instance, just as everything else in life, specialized stuff will always be in demand until the market is saturated. Dry van market is probably pretty saturated with the mega carriers, which may explain why some freight is low to some drivers. This is ALL just an opinion, so plz don't bash me too much, but this is just what I see from my POV.

Corn syrup is flying out Cargill's door as fast as they can fill the trucks. No slowdown here.

In tanker world rates are down, not horrible. Moves are still there.

DAT trendlines shows too much capacity.

Rideandrepair, spindrift and bzinger Thank this.
