Speeding in truck stops.

I started calling people out and getting confrontational when they act stupid. I’ll probably get shot or beat someday. I will lecture them and all they usually have to say is F you. It makes me laugh. I hope it boils their blood that I called them out. Act like a GD adult.

Of course with all the language barriers these days I often don’t get my point across LOL

 

Back when I kept a couple of more trucks on the road, I would get the hankering every now and then to buy more, but could always just watch the fuel island in any given truckstop for 10 minutes or so and get over it.

 

A couple of months ago I was at a pilot on I81 in middle VA. Some ‘tainer driver comes flying into the back loop to the fuel islands like 40 GD mph. He gets called out on the radio. The driver replies that the man calling him out better shut up and if you were on the lot I’d run your $&@ over. In the usual indignant and ignorant speech you hear any more along with these nose in parked steering wheel holders.

 

I like to drive real slow so everybody can look at my nice tarp job LOL

I think a big part of guys haulin ### in the lot is because these auto trans , u just put the pedal on the floor and she starts runnin... I cant stand the auto in the parking lot.. I put it in manual mode , cruise around in 4th or 5th gear which comes out to about 7-8 mph

 

From what I see in truck stops and everywhere, its foreigners, not all, but a large majority of them have zero road courtesy or manners period. Whether they are flying through parking lots, leaving their truck at the fuel pump for their 30 min, or shower, sweeping all the garbage out of the back into the grass... everyone one ive seen is a russian, albanian, or middle easterner or wherever they come from. Passed one by chicago few weeks back chucking trash out his passenger side window. All the ones I see demonstrating a complete lack of respect... are from that group. A friend was in CDL class with a few, they come over on a special grant/program, get free school, new truck, tax free no interest loans, and dont give a rats ### about anyone else.

Things sure have changed in 25 years

 

I dont know how many times I've been passed in truck stops... not like I'm getting ready to back in a spot and I'm creeping along with hazards on... like I'm rolling about 10mph on the way to the exit and this driver comes HAULING *** around me... not sure, guess they should have left sooner...

Sorry fellas, I'm not going to be the guy on the news running someone over in a #### parking lot!!
