Case has (3) layers of foam:
(2) thick layers of pick/pluck foam
(1) thin solid layer at bottom
Installed the hybrid CB/Scanner
Uniden 885 Bearcat
Top is about 7-8 small bags with Scanner antenna & GPS antenna plus all paperwork. Everything that came with radio except bracket.
Lower is radio plus mic
(Still have room for both the RM ITALY KL203 amp & the WEST MOUNTAIN RADIO CLEAR-SPEAKER; top layer untouched under paperwork)
I like the fact I can (could) just toss this case. Not worry about it. Plus all radio gear in one place. Dedicated storage.
$30 to store a $400 Radio.
With that speaker, amp and Palomar mic, $700 in gear.
A one time insurance payment.
